Product Structure
(1) Structure
(2) How It Works
After pressure, the microcapsules are broken, the color-forming materials in the microcapsule and the color-developing materials react each other, showing red color. The degree of microcapsule broken is determined by the value of pressure, the greater the pressure, the more microcapsule damage, the higher the color density. Conversely, the lower the density of the color.
Storage
- Avoid direct sunlight and fire sources. For long term storage, please keep the room temperature at below 15 ℃ and avoid sunlight. The unused L and K film should be put back into the original packaging bag (L film in black poly bag, K film in blue poly bag) and store in the packaging box.
- Don’t contact with the following items: Carbonless copying paper; water, oil, solvent and other chemicals; Plasticizers and plastic products which contain plasticizers; Rubber and eraser; Oily handwriting.
- The K film after indicating color should be put into the paper bag. When storing a few K films together, make sure the color surfaces do not touch each other. It is better to separate them by white paper.
- The color film samples will fade to a certain extent with the extension of time. It is suggested to scan the image to store digitally.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
What are the specifications of the High Pressure (HS) film?
The High Pressure (HS) film has a width of 270mm, a length of 10m, supports a pressure range of 50-130 Mpa, and is a Mono-sheet type.
What industries commonly use this pressure measurement film?
It is widely used in electronic circuits, LCDs, semiconductors, automotive manufacturing, lithium-ion battery production, and the installation of mechanical equipment.
How does the color change relate to the applied pressure?
Under pressure, microcapsules break and trigger a chemical reaction that turns the film red. The higher the pressure applied, the more microcapsules break, resulting in a higher color density.
What are the long-term storage requirements for unused film?
For long-term storage, keep the room temperature below 15 ℃ and avoid direct sunlight. Unused L and K films must be stored in their original packaging (L film in black poly bags, K film in blue poly bags) inside the packaging box.
What materials should the film avoid contact with?
The film must not come into contact with carbonless copying paper, water, oil, solvents, other chemicals, plasticizers (or plastic products containing them), rubber, erasers, and oily handwriting.
How should color film samples be stored to prevent fading?
Since color film samples fade over time, it is recommended to scan the images for digital storage. Physical K films should be stored in paper bags with white paper separating the color surfaces to prevent them from touching.
