After pressure is applied, the microcapsules are broken. The color-forming materials in the microcapsules and the color-developing materials react with each other, showing a red color. The degree of microcapsule breakage is determined by the value of pressure: the greater the pressure, the more microcapsules damage, resulting in a higher color density. Conversely, lower pressure yields lower color density.
Storage
- Avoid direct sunlight and fire sources: For long term storage, please keep the room temperature below 15 ℃ and avoid sunlight. Unused L and K film should be put back into their original packaging bags (L film in black poly bag, K film in blue poly bag) and stored in the packaging box.
- Avoid contact with: Carbonless copying paper, water, oil, solvent, and other chemicals; plasticizers and plastic products containing plasticizers; rubber, erasers, and oily handwriting.
- Handling K film after color indication: Place indicated K film in a paper bag. If storing multiple K films together, ensure the color surfaces do not touch each other (separating them with white paper is recommended).
- Fading precaution: The color film samples will fade to a certain extent over time. It is suggested to scan the image for digital storage.
